During his official visit last week, Georgia product and 2024 3-star defensive back Willie Goodwyn announced his verbal commitment to the Cincinnati Bearcats!
Following an extensive recruiting process, Goodwyn eventually chose the Bearcats over offers from Buffalo, East Carolina, Georgia Tech and others.
Heading into his senior campaign, Goodwyn is the 65th highest rated safety in the country and 71st ranked prospect from Georgia according to 247 Sports.

Scott Satterfield’s coaching staff saw plenty of success recruiting Georgia in recent months, receiving five verbal commits from the state.
There are plenty of other prospects that are considering Cincinnati including 4-star safety Reggie Powers III and 4-star running back DeJuan Williams.
Williams included the Bearcats among his finalists along with Boston College, Maryland, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Stanford, Syracuse and Virginia Tech.

Georgia native and 2024 3-star cornerback Rae’mon Mosby had the Bearcats among his nine finalists alongside several other notable programs!
Mosby is reportedly considering offers from Cincinnati, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Mississippi State, Tulane and West Virginia.
Prior to his senior year, Mosby is the 70th ranked cornerback prospect in the nation and 93rd highest rated recruit from the state of Georgia per 247 Sports.
