A few days after taking a visit to Cincinnati, 2024 4-star Qua Birdsong broke down his decision to decommit from the Bearcats in a recent post.
Birdsong was previously the top ranked verbal commit in program history and 36th highest rated prospect from Georgia according to 247 Sports.
Prior to announcing his verbal commitment to the Bearcats, Birdsong was considering Arkansas, Central Florida, Miami, Michigan and others.
The Georgia product opted to reopen his recruitment on Thursday night and is rumored to be leaning towards UCF following a visit this month.
