Cincinnati Football: Toledo native Jaylen Watson announces upcoming commitment date

After taking multiple visits to Cincinnati in recent months, Toledo native and 3-star prospect Jaylen Watson included the Bearcats in his finalists!

Even though it’s still relatively early in his recruitment, Iowa remains the heavy favorite to land Watson via On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Prior to his senior campaign at Central Catholic High School, Watson is the 32nd highest rated recruit from Ohio according to 247 Sports.

Watson is expected to announce his verbal commitment between Cincinnati, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota and West Virginia on July 8.

Florida native and 2024 3-star wide receiver prospect Shamar Rigby recently included the Bearcats on his list of potential destinations.

Going into his senior season at Lakewood High School, Rigby is the 103rd highest ranked recruit from Florida according to 247 Sports.

Rigby is currently considering Cincinnati, Kansas State, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Purdue, South Florida and Vanderbilt.

The Bearcats hoping to receive a commitment but South Florida is the current favorite to land Rigby per On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine.
