Just hours after the direct contact period began earlier this week, the Bearcats extended an offer to 2025 5-star power forward Alier Maluk.

Maluk recently received interest from several notable schools including Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Villanova and more.

Prior to his junior campaign at Imani Christian Academy, Maluk is the 2nd highest ranked recruit from Pennsylvania according to 247 Sports.

After spending six years as head coach at Johns Hopkins, Josh Loeffler accepted an assistant coaching position with the Bearcats this week.

Cleveland product and 2026 5-star small forward TJ Crumble received offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Ohio State and others this month.

Even though it’s still early in his recruiting process, Crumble recently gained traction and should be a top priority for the Bearcats moving forward.

Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats pick up commitment from 2024 4-star center Tyler McKinley

Cincinnati native and 2024 4-star center Tyler McKinley revealed his commitment to the Bearcats and will represent his hometown program!

Following an extensive recruitment, McKinley committed to Cincinnati over Alabama, Michigan State, Ohio State, Xavier and others.

Heading into his senior year at Link Academy, McKinley is the 10th highest ranked center in the country according to 247 Sports.

McKinley discussed his decision to commit to the Bearcats in a recent interview with On3’s National Recruiting Expert Joe Tipton.
