After taking a visit to Cincinnati last month, Washington DC native and 2024 3-star linebacker Montay Weedon committed to the Bearcats last weekend!

Despite losing a commitment from coveted 4-star linebacker Qua Birdsong, Cincinnati regained momentum with Weedon’s recent announcement.

Heading into his senior season at St. John’s High School, Weedon is the 5th ranked recruit from Washington DC and 95th highest rated linebacker per On3.

Weedon included Cincinnati among his finalists in late May before choosing the Bearcats over Florida State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and others.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats land 2024 3-star interior offensive lineman Jayce Mitchell

Louisiana product and 2024 3-star interior offensive lineman Jayce Mitchell announced his verbal commitment to the Bearcats on Sunday afternoon!

Even though he primarily plays right tackle, Mitchell displayed enough versatility to assume he could play other positions on the offensive line.

Mitchell earned an offer from Cincinnati in early February and eventually committed to the Bearcats over California, Georgia Tech and more.

Prior to his senior campaign at Destrehan High School, Mitchell is the 34th highest rated prospect from Louisiana per 247 Sports.
