Cincinnati Football: Bearcats land 2024 3-star interior offensive lineman Jayce Mitchell

Louisiana native and 2024 3-star interior offensive lineman Jayce Mitchell announced his verbal commitment to the Bearcats on Sunday afternoon!

Even though he primarily plays right tackle, Mitchell displayed enough versatility to assume he could adjust to other positions on the offensive line.

Mitchell earned a scholarship offer from Cincinnati in early February and eventually committed to the Bearcats over California, Georgia Tech and others.

Prior to his senior campaign at Destrehan High School, Mitchell is the 34th highest ranked prospect from Louisiana according to 247 Sports.

Cincinnati Football: Toledo native Jaylen Watson announces upcoming commitment date

After taking multiple visits to Cincinnati in recent months, Toledo native and 3-star athlete Jaylen Watson included the Bearcats in his finalists!

Even though it’s still relatively early in his recruitment, Iowa remains the heavy favorite to land Watson per On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Heading into his senior season at Central Catholic High School, Watson is the 32nd highest rated recruit from Ohio according to 247 Sports.

Watson is scheduled to announce his verbal commitment between Cincinnati, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota and West Virginia on July 8.
