Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats announce upcoming matchups against non-conference foes
According to a recent report from CBS Sports Insider Jon Rothstein, the Bearcats are finalizing an agreement to face Dayton at Heritage Bank Center!
Dating back to the first meeting more than a century ago, Cincinnati played Dayton second-most of any opponent with a 60-31 all-time record.
Even though it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it appears the Bearcats will eventually come to terms on an agreement and take on Dayton this year.
The most recent matchup against the Flyers occurred in 2010 as Dion Dixon scored a game-high 20 points to help secure a 68-34 win.

Cincinnati Basketball: Reacting to the Bearcats recent hire of assistant coach Josh Loeffler
Check out our reaction to the Bearcats recent decision to hire assistant coach Josh Loeffler to replace Mike Roberts moving forward.
Loeffler’s coaching style places an emphasis on attention to detail and player development, which will certainly benefit the program.
Roberts reportedly won’t have his contract renewed after two years but the Bearcats should find success following the addition of Loeffler.
Throughout his time at Johns Hopkins, Loeffler became the second winningest coach in program history and earned back to back conference titles.
