Bearcats defensive line duo Dontay Corleone and Daniel Grzesiak were included on the Sports Info Solutions Preseason All-Big 12 Defensive Team!

Corleone is expected to contend for the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year as he hopes to build on a spectacular redshirt freshman campaign.

Grzesiak was one of the most sought after players in the transfer portal after totaling 52 tackles and 8.5 sacks during his lone season at Utah State.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats defensive tackle Dontay Corleone receives preseason recognition

After an impressive freshman year, Bearcats defensive tackle Dontay Corleone was named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-American First Team.

Corleone racked up 45 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles last season, highlighted by a career-high 11 tackles against Navy in November.

The Cincinnati native emerged as a dominant defensive tackle en route to earning All-AAC First Team and Associated Press All-American honors.

With a determined staff and roster in place, the Bearcats have potential to make noise in the Big 12 and secure bowl eligibility for a sixth year in a row.
