After spending nearly a decade in the American Athletic Conference, the Bearcats were formally welcomed into the Big 12 last weekend!

During a recent interview with 247 Sports Bearcat Journal writer Keegan Nickoson, Sanks broke down his decision to commit to Cincinnati.

"“There’s lots of love. The communication was early. From day one, everybody on the staff was recruiting me. It felt like home as soon as I walked in. With the experience, with what they do, why would you not play for them? With me being able to play for such a prestigious coach like coach Coombs. If I’m not mistaken, he has the most first round draft picks besides Nick Saban. He’s a top defensive backs coach. I can play anywhere on the secondary from covering the number one receiver, slot receiver and tight end. I can do it all. My coverage schemes and my mentality. I’m one of one.”"
