Bearcats commits Elijah Jones and Samaj Jones are set to square off against IMG Academy in ESPN’s High School Kickoff next month!

During an interview with Philadelphia-based sports writer Joseph Santoliquito, Samaj Jones discussed his commitment to Cincinnati.

Going into his senior campaign at St. Joseph’s Prep School, Jones is the 15th ranked quarterback in the country according to 247 Sports.

The upcoming matchup is scheduled to kick off in Ocean City, New Jersey on August 26 at 7:00 PM and will be broadcasted on ESPN2.

After taking an official visit to Cincinnati in June, 2024 4-star quarterback prospect Samaj Jones committed to the Bearcats this month.

Jones is the first commitment since the program officially joined the Big 12 this month and he will bring a major boost to the 2024 class.

The Philadelphia native picked up an offer from Cincinnati last year before committing over Oklahoma, Penn State and West Virginia.

With a determined coaching staff and roster in place, the Bearcats are hoping to secure bowl eligibility for a sixth consecutive season!
