Cincinnati alumni team Nasty Nati clinched a spot in TBT second round after an 88-76 win over The Money Team at the Cintas Center tonight!

Jarron Cumberland compiled 28 points and nine rebounds to lead Nasty Nati, highlighted by a game-sealing triple to cap off the victory.

Nasty Nati trailed 48-42 at halftime before starting the third quarter on an 11-0 run to regain the lead and take control of the momentum.

The Money Team remained within striking distance until Jacob Evans knocked down a pair of 3-pointers to push the lead to double digits.

Bearcats product Mamoudou Diarra scored the first eight points including a two-handed dunk to help Nasty Nati jump out to an early lead.

Despite trailing 48-42 going into the locker room at halftime, Cumberland came up with a clutch steal and 3-pointer to beat the buzzer!

Evans posted 24 points and eight rebounds on 8/16 shooting from the field, while Diarra totaled 13 points and five rebounds in the win.

Nasty Nati advanced to the second round on Saturday night and will take on Xavier’s alumni team Zip Em Up or the Georgia Kingz.
