During an interview with Bearcat Journal contributor Keegan Nickoson, Beerman reacted to his recent visit to Cincinnati via 247 Sports.

"“It was another opportunity to get down on campus. The first time I went, it was for a camp. This was an opportunity to meet the coaching staff and I’ve stayed in contact with them. It was about building a better relationship with Cincy. It was a really good day for me. They made it very clear they want to prioritize me. The big goal with moving conferences is they want to get the kids from Cincinnati. I’m a big part of that. If you can keep the local talent, it’s a game changer. There’s so much talent coming out of Cincinnati. They said I’m a big priority. I’m one of the kids they want to keep home as a hometown hero.”"
