Bearcats defensive tackle Dontay Corleone and punter Mason Fletcher were recently mentioned on multiple preseason award watch lists!
Corleone was included on a pair of watch lists including the Nagurski Trophy and Outland Trophy, given to the nation’s top defensive player.
Fletcher took home several postseason accolades a year ago and was placed on the Ray Guy award preseason watch list in recent days.

After an impressive freshman season, Corleone was recently named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-American First Team.
Corleone received All-AAC First Team recognition last year and is expected to compete for All-Big 12 Conference honors this season.
Fletcher developed into one of the nation’s most efficient punters and was named AAC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2022.
Moving to a new conference will certainly come with obstacles but Fletcher should bring stability to the Bearcats special teams unit.

Corleone was recently mentioned alongside several dominant defensive linemen including Illinois junior Jer’zhan Newton and more.
The Cincinnati product emerged in his redshirt freshman season en route to earning All-AAC First Team and All-American honors.
