Lakota West product and 2026 3-star linebacker Cam Thomas picked up offers from multiple programs in recent days including Cincinnati.

Prior to his sophomore campaign at Lakota West High School, Thomas took a visit to Michigan and received an offer from the Wolverines.

Scott Satterfield’s staff will continue to target Thomas but it’s difficult to gauge where he will commit since it’s so early in his recruitment.

Thomas showed off his intriguing skillset at the Bearcats camp last summer and should be a top priority for the 2026 recruiting class.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats continues to show interest in 2026 3-star linebacker Cam Thomas

A pair of hometown prospect competed in the Bearcats camp last month including Taft High School defensive tackle Drayden Pavey.

Even though it’s still early in his recruiting process, Pavey is currently projected to commit to Cincinnati per On3 Recruiting.

Heading into his junior season at Taft High School, Pavey is the 29th highest ranked prospect from Ohio according to 247 Sports.

Pavey participated in one of the Bearcats camps last year and eventually received an offer from his hometown program in April.

Illinois native and 2025 4-star defensive lineman Jason Dowell was among several recruits to receive an offer from the Bearcats!

Prior to his junior campaign at Cahokia High School, Dowell is the 6th highest rated prospect from Illinois according to 247 Sports.

Scott Satterfield’s staff will continue to target him moving forward but Dowell is projected to commit to Illinois per On3 Recruiting.

There are plenty of notable programs that recently expressed interest in Dowell including Auburn, Illinois, Oregon, USC and others.
