Cincinnati Football: 2025 4-star edge rusher Austin Alexander set to visit this weekend

Kentucky native and 2025 4-star edge rusher Austin Alexander is set to visit Cincinnati for the Bearcats season opener on Saturday afternoon!

Prior to his senior campaign at Cooper High School, Alexander is the 2nd highest ranked 2025 prospect from Kentucky according to 247 Sports.

Scott Satterfield’s coaching staff is expected to extend an offer to him soon but Notre Dame is the favorite to land Alexander per On3 Recruiting.

There are several notable schools targeting Alexander alongside Cincinnati including Kentucky, North Carolina, Notre Dame and West Virginia.

After an impressive sophomore campaign, 2025 3-star defensive lineman Samuel Cohen earned a scholarship offer from the Bearcats last week!

Cohen is currently the 11th ranked prospect from Virginia and the 36th ranked defensive lineman in the country according to 247 Sports.

Even though it’s still early in his recruitment, Cohen is projected to eventually commit to Virginia Tech via On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

There are multiple premier programs recruiting Cohen along with Cincinnati including Georgia, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.

Belleville native and 2025 3-star athlete Andre Thomas displayed intriguing potential and would be a perfect fit for Bryan Brown’s defense.

Detroit King product and 2025 4-star defensive end Xavier Newsom is a dynamic prospect that should receive an offer from the Bearcats.
