Bearcats running back Corey Kiner finished with 109 rushing yards including a career-high 54-yard sprint to set up a touchdown in the second quarter.

Jones displayed his dynamic ability during his Cincinnati debut with a game-high 345 passing yards and a school record-tying seven touchdowns.

Satterfield’s offense compiled 667 total yards, 30 first downs and converted all six red zone trips to secure a season-opening win over the Colonels.

Even though the competition will get much more difficult at Pittsburgh next week, the Bearcats certainly started the regular season on a high note!

Following the dominant performance in front of a sold out crowd, Satterfield reflected on the 66-13 win in a press conference via Cincinnati Athletics.

"“The first thing I want to say is how awesome it was to play at Nippert. It was everything that I anticipated it being and then some. Shoutout to our student body that came out here an hour early and posted up in the end zone all wearing white. We felt that energy right from the start. I thought Emory Jones played really well and he did a good job with decision making. We have some good receivers and they proved that to be true today. Our guys made some great plays. The defense was very solid. They were very focused on playing a great game and they did that.”"
