During a dominant 66-13 win over Eastern Kentucky in the regular season opener, the Cincinnati Bearcats showed off their impressive transfer haul!
Highlighted by star quarterback Emory Jones and dynamic wide receiver Xzavier Henderson, the Bearcats offense looked explosive from the start.
Just moments into the matchup on Saturday afternoon, Jones connected with Henderson for a 49-yard touchdown to give Cincinnati an early lead.
There were several other impact transfers including senior linebacker Daniel Grzesiak, who finished his debut with a team-high seven tackles.

Grzesiak compiled 52 tackles and 8.5 sacks at Utah State last season and will have a significant role on the defensive front moving forward.
Henderson totaled a team-high 410 yards and 38 catches at Florida in 2022, and could have a chance to lead Cincinnati in receiving this year.
Jones was seemingly unstoppable in the 66-13 win, finishing with 345 passing yards and tying a program record with seven total touchdowns!
The win marks a promising start to what could be a memorable season as the program hopes to prove doubters wrong heading into Big 12 play.
