Cincinnati Football: Bearcats open as double digit underdogs ahead of Big 12 opener
Fans are eagerly anticipating the Big 12 clash against Oklahoma but there is plenty of frustration following the disappointing performance from a week ago.
Satterfield discussed the recent loss to Miami and previewed the matchup with the Sooners during a pregame press conference per Cincinnati Athletics.
"“It’s a huge moment and will be awesome for our fans, student athletes and all of us to have the first Big 12 game at Nippert. We have to go out there, play our best ball and go get a win. We know we have a huge challenge coming in here but one that we welcome. I think we’ve been solid defensively. The big plays on the outside have been the difference. There are things we have to get better at. Our guys will go out there and play really physical and fast football because that’s what we have to do. Whatever happened this past weekend, that doesn’t change the fact we’re opening Big 12 play with Oklahoma. Our guys will go out and play the very best game they can and try to go get a win. That’s what we’ll do this week.”"
