Cincinnati Basketball: Trevon Scott recently inks new contract with Charlotte Hornets

After having success in the G-League a season ago, Cincinnati Bearcats alum Trevon Scott inked a one-year contract with the Charlotte Hornets recently!
During his lone season with the Greensboro Swarm, Scott posted 17.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game on 53.8 percent shooting from the field in 10 games.
Scott continued to show off potential throughout the offseason, competing in the Summer League in July and representing Nasty Nati in the annual TBT.
The Cincinnati product signed an Exhibit 10 contract that guarantees an invitation to the Hornets training camp and is worth the league minimum salary.

Following his career at Cincinnati, Scott played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2021 and had stints in the G-League with the Cleveland Charge and more.

Cincinnati Basketball: Big 12 schedule released ahead of Bearcats inaugural season in conference
As the program continues to prepare for the regular season to tip off next month, the Big 12 Conference schedule was officially released last week!
Check out the most intriguing games from the inaugural Big 12 schedule including hosting the Texas Longhorns and Houston Cougars next year.
Other home matchups are highlighted by Oklahoma and TCU in January, TCU and Oklahoma State in late February, Kansas State and West Virginia in March.
The Bearcats will face the BYU Cougars in the Big 12 opener on January 6, followed by road trips to Baylor, Kansas, TCU, Texas Tech, UCF and others.
