Cincinnati Football: Bearcats continue to prioritize 2025 4-star edge rusher Austin Alexander

Kentucky product and 2025 4-star defensive end Austin Alexander is visiting during the Cincinnati Bearcats homecoming on Saturday afternoon!

Heading into his senior year at Cooper High School, Alexander was the 2nd ranked recruit in the 2025 class from Kentucky according to 247 Sports.

Scott Satterfield’s staff is expected to offer him soon but Notre Dame is projected to land a commitment from Alexander at some point per On3 Recruiting.

There are several schools targeting Alexander along with the Bearcats including Kentucky, North Carolina, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Wisconsin and more.

A handful of 2025 recruits earned offers from the Bearcats in recent days including 4-star defensive back Shamari Earls and 4-star athlete Trey McNutt!

Earls is the 4th highest ranked 2025 prospect from Virginia and has received offers from North Carolina, Penn State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and more.

McNutt is currently the top rated 2025 recruit out of Ohio with offers from several schools including Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Other 2025 prospects that recently received offers are 4-star cornerback Tariq Hayer, 3-star wideout Giyahni Kontosis and 3-star athlete Tristan Norman.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats scheduled to host several notable targets this weekend

Cincinnati will host several 2025 prospects 3-star defensive end Mariyon Dye, 3-star lineman Danilo Guberinich and 3-star wide receiver Fonzy Smith.

Dye is the 11th ranked 2025 recruit from Indiana and has gained plenty of traction with recent offers from Louisville, Georgia, Tennessee, USC and Wisconsin.
