As the regular season opener continues to approach, Cincinnati freshman forward Rayvon Griffith will try to make an immediate impact in his first year!
Following an upcoming game against Illinois-Chicago in November, the Bearcats will meet Dayton, Georgia Tech and Xavier before Big 12 play starts later on.
Griffith was the 8th highest rated recruit to commit to Cincinnati according to 247 Sports and is aiming to carve out a consistent role as a true freshman.
The Cincinnati native committed to the Bearcats nearly a year ago and received several accolades in high school including All-Ohio First Team honors.

During the press conference at Big 12 media day, Miller broke down multiple key returning players and transfer additions via Cincinnati Athletics.
Oguama scored 5.5 points and 5.4 rebounds on 57.6 percent shooting from the field last year including a career-high 18-point outing against South Florida.
The North Carolina native is set to play a major role in the Bearcats frontcourt along with graduate John Newman III and sophomore Daniel Skillings Jr.
With a chance to secure an NCAA Tournament berth for the first time since 2019, Cincinnati is looking to improve on a 23-13 overall record from a year ago.
