Georgia product and 2025 3-star linebacker Luke Metz is scheduled to visit the Cincinnati Bearcats matchup against the UCF Knights this weekend!

Metz took visits to Duke, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest in recent months, and will be in attendance for the Bearcats game on Saturday afternoon.

There are several notable schools targeting Metz along with Cincinnati including Duke, Georgia Tech, South Florida, UCF, Wake Forest and others.

With an opportunity to leave an impression on Metz, the Bearcats are hoping to snap a recent losing skid and secure the first Big 12 win in school history.

Alcoa native and 2025 4-star tight end Eli Owens recently included the Bearcats among his list of finalists alongside plenty of prominent schools.

Other programs in contention to land Owens along with Cincinnati are Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and more.

Scott Satterfield’s staff is targeting multiple 2025 prospects in 4-star defensive back Trey McNutt and Mark Zackery IV, plus 3-star athlete Tristan Norman.

The Tennessee product is projected to commit to Tennessee but the Bearcats and Michigan remain legit contenders according to On3 Recruiting.

Cincinnati verbal commit 2024 4-star quarterback recruit Samaj Jones is set to return to campus for a meeting with UCF on Saturday at Nippert Stadium!

During an interview with Philadelphia-based writer Joseph Santoliquito, Jones reflected on his decision to verbally commit to the Bearcats in the summer.

Jones was the first commitment since the program officially joined the Big 12, committing to Cincinnati over Oklahoma, Penn State and West Virginia.

With his senior campaign at St. Joseph’s Prep School coming to an end, Jones is the 26th highest ranked quarterback in the nation according to 247 Sports.
