According to a recent announcement, the Cincinnati Bearcats were slated to play a pair of incoming Big 12 schools in Arizona State and Colorado next year!
Colorado coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes are set to take on Cincinnati in 2024 as well. It will be the first matchup since Colorado earned a win in 1972.

Scott Satterfield’s team will also head down south to Orlando to play rival UCF, while welcoming in Arizona State, Houston, TCU and West Virginia in 2024.

- 2024 away opponents: Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas State, Texas Tech and UCF
Arizona State will travel to Cincinnati in 2024 as the programs face off for the first time since 1976 with two past meetings that were won by the Bearcats.
Following the completion of the current campaign, Oklahoma and Texas will depart for the SEC as the four aforementioned programs join the conference.
With an opportunity to pick up the first Big 12 win in program history, the Bearcats are scheduled to host conference rival UCF this week at Nippert Stadium.
Cincinnati Football: Bearcats set to meet several Pac-12 schools in coming years
As the conference welcomes several new schools including Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah, the Big 12 is in for some major changes next season!
Cincinnati will have a year of firsts in 2025 as the team takes on Arizona and Utah for the first time ever, while meeting UCF for an 11th straight year.
In addition to four home games, Coach Prime and Colorado will face the Bearcats for a second time in three years but this time in 2026 at Nippert Stadium.
The rivalry against UCF will rekindle once again as the Bearcats head to Orlando in 2027. A new rivalry against TCU could be born in the coming years too.
