Cincinnati Basketball: 2024 4-star guard Travis Perry includes the Bearcats among finalists

Kentucky native and 2024 4-star point guard Travis Perry recently included the Cincinnati Bearcats in his finalists with a commitment date approaching!
Perry is considering the Bearcats alongside Alabama, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Western Kentucky, and is set to announce his decision on Sunday, November 12.
The Lyon County High School prospect is currently the highest ranked recruit from Kentucky and 6th rated point guard in the country per 247 Sports.
Wes Miller’s coaching staff is attempting to add the coveted guard but Ole Miss remains the favorite to eventually land Perry according to On3 Recruiting.

Connecticut product and 2024 4-star forward Tyler Betsey announced his long-awaited commitment to join the Bearcats program in early October!
Several notable schools were hoping to land Betsey before he committed to Cincinnati in recent weeks including Alabama, Duke, Connecticut and Indiana.
The recent commitment is a huge moment for the Bearcats as Betsey and 2024 4-star center Tyler McKinley create a dynamic duo going forward.
247 Sports Director of Scouting Adam Finkelstein described Betsey as “a naturally talented prospect who has made notable strides in recent years.”

Betsey discussed his decision to attend Cincinnati and reflected on his recruiting process in a recent announcement according to Bearcat Journal.
Heading into his senior season at St. Thomas More High School, Betsey is the highest ranked prospect from Connecticut in the 2024 class via 247 Sports.
