Cincinnati Basketball: Aziz Bandaogo set to make long-awaited debut for the Bearcats

Cincinnati Bearcats transfer center Aziz Bandaogo was cleared by the NCAA and will make his debut against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets tonight!
Prior to announcing his transfer to Cincinnati during the offseason, Bandaogo began his career at Akron and then transferred to Utah Valley a season ago.
The Senegal product played at the NBA Academy in Africa before moving to the United States years ago and eventually joining the Bearcats this season.
Wes Miller’s frontcourt should get a major boost from Bandaogo as he makes his season debut after initially having his transfer waiver appeal denied.

Cincinnati is fresh off a 90-66 win over Northern Kentucky to stay unbeaten but Georgia Tech could pose a legitimate threat as the programs clash.
During the offseason, Georgia Tech added two SEC transfers in former Ole Miss guard Amaree Abram and former Florida combo guard Kowacie Reeves.
Georgia Tech guard Miles Kelly leads the team with 21.0 points per game, and forward Tyzhaun Claude averages 12.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks.
The Bearcats are currently 9.5-point favorites over Georgia Tech with the over/under placed at 149.5 total points according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats get ready to host ACC opponent Georgia Tech
Even though Georgia Tech has enough talent to stay within striking distance, the Bearcats should be able to pull away and eventually secure a notable victory.
Players to watch in the matchup include Cincinnati center Viktor Lakhin, backcourt duo Jizzle James and DaVeon Thomas, forward Dan Skillings Jr and more.
The most recent meeting against Georgia Tech took place in the 1996 NCAA Tournament as Bearcats big man Danny Fortson fueled the way to an 87-70 win.
