A pair of Cincinnati Bearcats linebackers revealed their decision to enter the transfer portal in recent days including James Camden and Jah-Mal Williams.

Camden is a Cincinnati product that graduated from Anderson High School in 2020 before mostly playing on special teams throughout his Bearcats career.

Despite seeing limited action this season, Williams showcased his intriguing potential with a handful of impressive plays en route to posting six total tackles.

Williams was a 3-star defensive end from Cardinal Gibbons High School that committed to Cincinnati in 2020 over Arizona State, Kansas and Louisville.

A ton of players opted to enter the transfer portal this week including Cincinnati defensive back duo Sammy Anderson and Justin Harris among others.

Others that opted to transfer are offensive lineman Cam Jones, tight end Chamon Metayer, wide receiver Donovan Ollie and defensive lineman Justin Wodtly.

The first player to reveal his decision to enter the portal was Metayer, who finished the season with 258 yards and a team-high five touchdown catches.

Cincinnati Football: Bryon Threats among notable Bearcats to enter transfer portal

Columbus native and Bearcats veteran safety Bryon Threats is among several notable players to enter the transfer portal following the season finale.

During his junior campaign at Cincinnati this season, Threats was a playmaker in the secondary with 57 tackles, two interceptions and one forced fumble.

Threats was a 3-star safety from Dublin Coffman High School before committing to the Bearcats in 2020 over Michigan State, Purdue and West Virginia.
