Cincinnati Bearcats recent verbal commit and 2025 3-star quarterback Zebulin Kinsey became the first 2025 commit to Scott Satterfield’s team last month!

Kinsey received offers from multiple Big 12 schools in Oklahoma State and West Virginia, while recently visiting Cincinnati, Penn State and West Virginia.

The Ohio product was being recruited by Bearcats quarterbacks coach Pete Thomas and will be a key building block of the 2025 class going forward.

Several notable 2025 prospects received offers from Cincinnati in linebacker Bailey Benson, defensive end Lajesse Harrold and wide receiver Gerritt Kemp.

A handful of under the radar recruits earned offers from the Bearcats throughout October, highlighted by 2025 3-star wide receiver Lagonza Hayward Jr.

Hayward is a standout wide receiver prospect from Toombs County High School and would be a crucial addition to the Bearcats 2025 recruiting class.

Satterfield’s staff is targeting multiple 2025 recruits including 4-star defensive back duo Trey McNutt and Mark Zackery IV, plus 3-star athlete Tristan Norman.

Zackery is currently the top ranked 2025 prospect out of Indiana and the 7th ranked cornerback in the country according to the latest 247 Sports rankings.

Cincinnati Football: 2025 tight end prospect Kamaurri Smith commits to the Bearcats

Dayton native and 2025 tight end recruit Kamaurri Smith announced his decision to verbally commit to the Bearcats on social media in mid November!

Even though he isn’t ranked on the major recruiting sites yet, Smith collected interest from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers and others.

The Wayne High School product picked up an offer from the Bearcats last month and has become the latest commitment of the 2025 recruiting class.
