The Cincinnati Bearcats are still in the AP Top 25 after a 31-point loss to the Utah Utes on Saturday. They drop eight spots to No. 25 after being ranked No. 17 last week in a ranked matchup against the No. 24 Utes.

The Utah Utes jumped all the way to No. 17 after defeating the Bearcats, something that a lot of fans are upset about after what seems to be a signature win for the Utes.

The Bearcats are ranked behind the Washington Huskies, Tennessee Volunteers, and Memphis Tigers. They are also ranked ahead of the Iowa Hawkeyes, James Madison Dukes, and the Pittsburgh Panthers.

The Bearcats are on a bye this week and could either fall out of the rankings or move up, depending on what the teams around them do. Cincinnati is currently third in the Big 12 behind BYU and Texas Tech, who play each other this week, which helps the Bearcats' chances of making it to the Big 12 Championship game. The Bearcats host Arizona out of the bye week before they play the BYU Cougars at home with a chance to revive the season.
