14. UCF Knights (3-3, 0-3)
The UCF Knights travelled to Cincinnati, Ohio, with their 3rd-string quarterback and put up a better fight than most would have thought, losing 20-11. UCF is still looking for its first Big 12 win and will have a great chance against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
13. Colorado Buffaloes (3-4, 1-3)
The Colorado Buffaloes got their first Big 12 win of the year and rushed the field after they beat the No. 22-ranked Iowa State Cyclones in Boulder. Colorado seems to be gaining momentum at the right time. After their bye week, they play a ranked Utah Utes team on the road.
12. Kansas State Wildcats (3-4, 2-2)
The Kansas State Wildcats took a step in the right direction after beating the TCU Horned Frogs 41-28 behind three touchdowns from Avery Johnson. The Wildcats are starting to look like their old selves after a slow start to the season, and have another opportunity to make some noise when they take on the Jayhawks after their upcoming bye week.
11. Kansas Jayhawks (4-3, 2-2)
The Kansas Jayhawks fall to 4-3 after a disappointing 42-17 loss to the No. 7-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders. Kansas dominated the time of possession and converted better on 3rd and 4th down, but couldn't convert in the red zone. The Jayhawks have a bye week before they take on the Kansas State Wildcats in a huge rivalry game.
10. Arizona Wildcats (4-2, 1-2)
The Arizona Wildcats surprised the college football world on Saturday night when they took an undefeated and ranked BYU Cougars team into double overtime before falling 33-27. The Arizona Wildcats look like a team that could potentially make some noise in the back half of the Big 12 regular season. Arizona travels to Houston next week to take on the Cougars.
9. Houston Cougars (5-1, 2-2)
The Houston Cougars traveled to Stillwater, Oklahoma, and comfortably beat Oklahoma State 39-17 to improve to 5-1. Houston hosts a 4-2 Arizona Wildcats team, who just lost in double overtime to a No. 15-ranked BYU team.
8. Baylor Bears (4-2, 2-1)
The Baylor Bears were on a bye week after beating the Kansas State Wildcats 35-34 and have had all week to prepare for the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas, next week. After TCU, the Bears travel to Cincinnati for two tough road games in back-to-back weeks.
7. Iowa State Cyclones (5-2, 2-2)
The Iowa State Cyclones lost their second straight game of the season, this time to the Colorado Buffaloes by a final score of 24-17. Iowa State gets a much-needed bye week to prepare for a big matchup against the BYU Cougars.
6. TCU Horned Frogs (4-1, 1-2)
The TCU Horned Frogs suffered a big loss on the road to the Kansas State Wildcats, losing 41-28 for their second loss in three games. The Horned Frogs have an opportunity to get back on track against the Baylor Bearcats next week in Fort Worth, Texas.
5. Arizona State Sun Devils (4-2, 2-1)
The Arizona State Sun Devils suffered their second loss of the season to the Utah Utes, and their chances to win the Big 12 seem a little bleak. The Sun Devils host the No. 7-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders this week and have another chance to get back on track.
4. Utah Utes (5-1, 2-1)
After suffering an embarrassing loss to Texas Tech early in the season, Utah and Kyle Whittingham bounced back and got a huge win over a ranked Arizona State team. With a final score of 42-10, the Utes enter the AP Poll as the No. 23 team in the country and have a chance for another big win over No. 15 BYU Cougars in a ranked matchup next week.
3. Cincinnati Bearcats (5-1, 3-0)
The Cincinnati Bearcats matched up against the UCF Knights, winning 20-11 in a closer game than they probably wanted. The Bearcats come in at No. 24 in this week's AP Poll, being ranked for the first time since late November 2022. The Cincinnati Bearcats take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys next week in a game where they are already a three-score favorite.
2. BYU Cougars (6-0, 3-0)
BYU survived a big-time upset when they travelled to Tucson and defeated the Arizona Wildcats 33-27 in double overtime. The BYU Cougars rose to 15th in the AP Poll and are in complete control of what they do for the remainder of the season. BYU hosts Utah in a ranked matchup this week.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders remain as the No. 1 team in the Big 12 and moved all the way up to No. 7 in the nation after a dominant win against the Kansas Jayhawks. With a final score of 42-17 and 263 rushing yards from Cameron Dickey, the Texas Tech rushing game looks unstoppable. The Red Raiders play Arizona State on the road next week and open as 11.5-point favorites.
