The Cincinnati Bearcats added their 15th commitment to the class of 2026, Jonathon Rulo, their third defensive lineman in the class, along with Jeremiah Gray and Darrius Simmons.

Rulo is from Belleville, Illinois, right outside of St. Louis, and attended Belleville East High School. Rulo stands at 6-foot-2, 285 pounds and primarily plays nose guard but he has also been playing in the B gap as a standard defensive tackle as well.

Rulo thrives at eating double teams, stopping the run, and clogging up running holes in the interior. He chose the Bearcats over Iowa, Kent State, and Miami of Ohio.

He took his official visit to Cincinnati last weekend and is another key piece for the future, as the Bearcats will try to continue being a dominant team upfront after the departure of Dontay Corleone at the conclusion of this upcoming season.

Defensive line coach Walt Stewart has publicly stated the importance of getting young guys in the building to learn form Corleone, praising his ability to relate at a high level with young recruits and share some of his wisdom.

Rulo was a three-star recruit and marks the 15th three-star recruit to join the Bearcats in the Class of 2026.
