Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Brendan Sorsby appeared on On3 Sports' Heisman Poll after week 7 of the college football season. Sorsby comes in at number 10, the fifth quarterback on the list behind Alabama's Ty Simpson, Oklahoma's John Mateer, Miami's Carson Beck, and Indiana's Ferando Mendoza.
Sorsby has passed for 1,257 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 1 interception while completing 65.9% of his passes. He adds 291 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns, cementing himself as a dual-threat quarterback. Sorsby has only been sacked one time this season, a lot of his stats are seeing an incline because of the incredible offensive line the Bearcats put together.
The Bearcats host UCF and travel to Oklahoma State the next two weeks before their schedule gets a little tougher to end the season. Sorsby is likely to move up on the list again after two fairly easy Big 12 games against bottom-of-the-barrel teams.
