After the Cincinnati Bearcats' 41-20 victory over the Baylor Bears, they once again moved up in the AP Poll Rankings. This time, they moved from 21 to 17, their biggest jump of the season.

The Bearcats are one of five Big 12 teams to make an appearance on the list, the others being BYU (10), Texas Tech (13), Houston (22), and Utah (24). The Bearcats come in at 17, ranked ahead of Texas, Missouri, and Oklahoma but behind Louisville, Virginia, and Tennessee.

This is the Bearcats ' first-ranked matchup since Nov. 20, 2022, when they played the Temple Owls, defeating them 23-3. This is the first-ranked matchup with Scott Satterfield as the Head Coach of the Bearcats.
