The Cincinnati Bearcats are in the final four games of the regular season and couldn't be in a better spot. After losing the season opener to Nebraska in August, they have won seven straight games and are tied for first in the Big 12. Their four-game stretch to end the season is their hardest collection of games this year. Their strength of schedule was ranked No. 14 in all of college football to end the season. They play Utah this weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah, as part of College Gameday. They then host the Arizona Wildcats for the first time in program history, before hosting the No. 10-ranked BYU Cougars. They end the season with the TCU Horned Frogs.

If the Bearcats either win or lose this week to Utah, it opens the door for a clear path either way to the Big 12 championship. If they beat Utah, there would be more room for error against BYU, a loss not being the worst result. If they lose to Utah, then the BYU game is a must-win for the Bearcats if they want a shot at the Big 12 Championship and the College Football Playoffs. Arizona should be an easy win; however, a trap game. The Horned Frogs beat Cincinnati in their final game of the season last year, making them miss out on a Bowl Game. This year, the game is in Fort Worth, Texas, and the Horned Frogs could do a lot more damage than making them miss a bowl game.
