In week 12 of the 2025 college football season, the Cincinnati Bearcats will take on the TCU Horned Frogs in the final game of the season for the second year in a row.

The two teams face off on November 29th at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas to end to regular season.

When the Bearcats and Horned Frogs last faced off, it was November 30th of last season, almost exactly a year apart from each other.

The Horned Frogs would win with a final score of 20-13, outlasting the Bearcats in a cold, snowy environment, which prevented the Bearcats from making a bowl game. Hopefully, by the time we play TCU this season, we won't need to win to be bowl-eligible.

The Horned Frogs are projected to finish top 5 in the Big 12 season after having 2 disappointing seasons after making the National Championship in 2022-23.

The TCU Horned Frogs brought in the Big 12's No.3 overall Transfer Portal class, bringing in 24 recruits, 23 of them being rated at least 3-star.

Some notable players to mention would be Jordan Dwyer, a wide receiver from Idaho who caught 78 passes for 1,192 yards in 12 games last season for the Vandals

TCU is also bringing in Elijah Jackson, a cornerback who transferred in from the University of Washington, who totaled 17 tackles and 2 pass deflections last season. Jackson had 61 total tackles, 5 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles in 2023, and is looking to get back to top form.

TCU also returns a lot of key players from last year's roster that went 9-4 overall, 6-3 in the Big 12, good enough for sixth place.

These returners are highlighted by Josh Hoover on offense, the redshirt junior quarterback, going into his fourth season at TCU, his second year as a starter. Hoover passed for 3,949 yards, 27 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season,

Hoover finished with a QBR of 73.9 for the 2024, his second-worst game coming against the Bearcats when he finished with a 51.1 QBR.

Cam Cook is returning to TCU after taking a step forward during his sophomore season. Cook ran for 460 yards and 9 touchdowns in 119 carries, averaging 3.9 yards per carry,

On the defensive end, the Horned Frogs retained a decent amount of talent from last year, Johnny Hodges being among those coming back. After a junior season where he led the team with 89 tackles, Hodges is coming back to Fort Worth to try and raise his draft stock. Hodges played primarily mike linebacker last season, but could be seen in a role where he plays on the outside this season.

The starting free safety is also returning for his senior season. Bud Clark had 68 total tackles last season with 3 interceptions and a forced fumble. Clark is going to be a big part of a young secondary next season for the Horned Frogs.
