The Cincinnati Bearcats have officially moved on from Jizzle James after he has spent the past two seasons as a Bearcat. James averaged 12.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game last season, a big loss for the Cincinnati Bearcats.
The Bearcats lose a starting point guard and their main facilitator on offense, something you never want to happen this close to the season's start.
Day Day Thomas will step in as the team's starting point guard, with Sincere Harris likely stepping in as the shooting guard. Harris was seen in a screenshot on James's Instagram story featuring a DM conversation between the two. James added text over the screenshot saying "Reason I ain't come back to school honestly".
Sincere Harris then later quote-tweeted a screenshot of the conversation and said, "Pray for Jizzle". This all happened on the morning of August 19th, and James was then dismissed shortly after.
There is still no information on what James did to originally be away from the team, but all information should come out in due time.
Wes Miller made the following statement: "Jizzle James has been dealing with personal issues throughout the summer. We removed him from the team last month. He is currently not a member of our basketball program. As this is a personal matter, I will have no further comment at this time".
Cincinnati guard Jizzle James has been dismissed from the team, according to a statement from Wes Miller.
