Transfer from Kentucky who averaged 4.4 PPG in nine games last season prior to injury.
Kriisa only averaged 4.4 points per game last season before the injury, but in past years, he averaged 11.0 points, 4.7 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 2023-24 for the West Virginia Mountaineers. In 2022-23, he averaged 9.9 points, 5.1 assists an,d 2.4 rebounds for the Arizona Wildcats. Kriisa will have an opportunity to play two of his former teams next season once conference play starts.
Kriisa is also a very capable perimeter defender. The stat sheet doesn't show his impact on the defensive end, but he is a spark plug on defense. He forces turnovers, gets in players' heads, and can completely change the outlook of a game.
Kriisa being fully cleared is great news for the 2025-26 Bearcats as they try to get back to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2019.
