The Cincinnati Bearcats secured an official visit from a 4-star recruit Jalan Wingfield. Standing at 6-foot-8, Wingfield is one of the best players in Georgia and the No. 104 prospect in the Class of 2026.
Wingfield will visit Cincinnati on September 26th. Nothing is known to be going on for sure that day on campus, but most visits don't occur during the season.
Wingfield also scheduled visits with Georgia Tech (August 22nd), Florida State (October 3rd), and Vanderbilt (October 16th). The Bearcats are the clear choice among those schools mentioned, but Wingfield also holds offers from Auburn, Alabama, Michigan, and Michigan State also who are yet schedule a visit.
Wingfield is a similar player to Gary Clark, who was very effective for the Bearcats from 2015-2018. Both have height and athleticism, but play the post like a veteran. They can rely on their athleticism and shooting when need be, but love finishing around defenders at the rim.
