With the college football regular season coming to an end, and only 12 teams left alive for a chance at being named the 2025 national champions, more teams and players are shifting their focus towards the 2026 NFL Draft this April.

In the latest NFL Mock Draft on CBS Sports, NFL Analyst Josh Edwards predicts the first fifty draft picks in which two Cincinnati Bearcats players get selected.

With the 31st pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, Edwards has the Los Angeles Rams selecting their next franchise quarterback to sit behind Matthew Stafford. That quarterback is Brendan Sorsby. In this mock draft, Sorsby is the third quarterback taken behind Indiana's Fernando Mendoza and Oregon's Dante Moore. There has been speculation on whether Sorsby will go to the NFL Draft or return for a final college football season, at Cincinnati or elsewhere. If Sorsby does end up getting first-round buzz, there's no reason he shouldn't go.

With the 49th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts are projected to take Cincinnati Bearcats linebacker Jake Golday. Golday originally transferred into Cincinnati from Central Arkansas and has exploded into one of the best players in the country. Golday is said to be as pro-ready as anyone in college football, being able to make an impact from day one.
