The Cincinnati Bearcats are no stranger to producing elite offensive linemen. Just ask the 11 offensive linemen they have put in the NFL since 2005. If you want to be elite in the trenches, you go to Cincinnati. That's exactly what Lance Dawson did, he is the 12th commitment in the Bearcats recruiting class for 2026.

Dawson is a 6-foot-5, 250-pound offensive tackle from Avon, Ohio. Dawson attends Avon High School, where this past season they went 13-0, won the Division II state championship and Dawson was selected First-Team All-OHSAA.

At Dawson's height and weight, you wouldn't expect him to move the way that he does. Dawson runs a 4.8-second 40-yard dash, 4.4-second pro agility, and jumps a 9-foot-6 broad jump, something that you never see at someone his size.

Dawson thrives while pass blocking, getting back in his kick step faster than the majority of offensive tackles in the class of 2026. Dawson also does a good job of pushing defenders off the line of scrimmage, moving to the next level of the defense, and getting hold of shiftier defenders.

Dawson could join a long list of elite Bearcat offensive linemen if he stays on the path he is on right now. The future is bright for Lance Dawson.
