Former Cincinnati Bearcats receiver Chris Moore signed with the Baltimore Ravens ahead of training camp that begins on July 29th. Moore played for the Bearcats from 2012-2015, having 119 receptions for 2,301 yards and 26 touchdowns in his career. Moore was selected by the Ravens No. 107 overall in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. After spending 4 seasons in Baltimore to start his career he spent 2021 and 2022 in Houston playing for the Texans. The best season of his NFL career came in 2022 where he caught 48 passes for 548 yards and two touchdowns. He spent 2023 with the Tennessee Titans and was with the Washington Commanders during the 2025 season.
Moore's most memorable game as a Bearcat came against Ohio State where the Bearcats lost 50-28 in 2014. Moore caught 3 passes for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns in this game, a statline that Randy Moss would be jealous of.
Moore comes into his second stint with the Ravens, this time with head Jesse Minter, whose father Rick Minter was head coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats from 1994-2003. Moore and Minter were apart of the ravens together during his first stint from 2017-2020 when Minter was a defensive assistant. Minter did spend time at Cincinnati as a defensive assistant in 2007-08, But Moore hadn't been on campus until 2012.
One reason that Moore has lasted in the NFL for so long is his contributions on special teams. He is a good gunner on punt coverage and has been described as trusted special teams player that teams are always looking for.
