The Injury Report for the upcoming Cincinnati vs. Utah college football game has just been released, and it's not as bad as you might have thought. The Cincinnati Bearcats will be missing a key offensive player for the first time this week, with Evan Pryor being listed as out. Pryor shares the backfield with Tawee Walker, who will likely be the lead running back this Saturday, with the occasional Manny Covey carry.
Montay Weedon, a depth and rotational piece at the linebacker position, is listed as probable for the upcoming game and should play.
Cincinnati Linebacker Terrell Holcomb was also listed as out on the Injury Report, but his absence doesn't mean a ton to the defense. Holcomb only has two total tackles all season, both of them coming against North Western State.
The Utah Utes have two defensive linemen listed as doubtful for Saturday's game. Utah has the No. 3 defensive line in the Big 12 and could take a significant hit if Dallas Vakalahi and Semi Tualanga are unable to play this weekend. Although Vakalahi and Tualanga are both just rotational pieces on the D-line, they play a significant role. Without them, it makes it harder for Utah to give their guys breathers with less depth available.
Tobias Merriweather, a receiver for the Utes, is listed as questionable for Saturday's game. On the season, Merriweather has 8 receptions for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns, tied for the team leader. Merriweather being out would be a big break for the Bearcats, as him being the best deep threat on the Utes.
