The Cincinnati Bearcats' offensive line has quietly been one of the best units in all of college football to start the season, and no one is really talking about it. Returning players like Gavin Gerhardt and Evan Tengesdahl, and then bringing in transfers like Joe Cotton, Taran Tyo, and Deondre Buford, you would think the offensive line would take some time to mesh together.

Cincinnati is the only team to allow just one sack this season, with it coming against the Kansas Jayhawks in a Bearcats 37-34 win.

The Cincinnati offensive line has won Big 12 offensive line of the week three separate times already. In week two against Bowling Green, Week 5 against Kansas, and Week 6 against Iowa State.

Cincinnati Bearcats left guard Evan Tengesdahl is currently the number one-rated offensive lineman in all of college football, according to Pro Football Focus. Tengesdahl is one of two returners on the Cincinnati offensive line and has been one of the offense's biggest leaders, according to Scott Satterfield.

The Cincinnati Bearcats' o-line has recently been added to the Joe Moore Award watch list, an award that goes to college football's most outstanding offensive line unit.

Their next big test comes against the Baylor Bears, and the BYU Cougars are both top-5 in the Big 12 in sacks. They play both of those teams at home within the next 5 weeks, something to look out for.
