Cincinnati product and 2025 5-star guard Dee Alexander announced a verbal commitment to her hometown Bearcats on Wednesday night!

Alexander was the highest ranked commit in school history after choosing Cincinnati over Illinois, Ohio State and several other schools.

The Purcell Marian High School standout took home 2024 MaxPreps Ohio Player of the Year and has won Ms. Ohio Basketball honors twice.

Cincinnati native and Bearcats senior forward Jillian Hayes collected All-Big 12 honors last year and is set to return for the 2025 season!

Following the inaugural season playing in the conference, the Bearcats took down the rival UCF Knights in the Big 12 Tournament debut.

Hayes helped lead Cincinnati with 12.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, while racking up double-figure scoring 16 times in Big 12 play.

The Cincinnati product recorded her 23rd career double-double against UCF just days after taking home the All-Big 12 regular season recognition!
