As conference play continues on, the Cincinnati Bearcats are hoping to pull off an upset over the Big 12 powerhouse Kansas Jayhawks tonight!

Cincinnati fell to 13-5 following a narrow loss to Oklahoma last weekend, while Kansas dropped to 15-3 with a surprising loss at West Virginia.

The Jayhawks are led by star tandem Hunter Dickinson and Kevin McCullar Jr, plus veteran guard DaJuan Harris and forward KJ Adams.

Wes Miller's team should have a chance to stay within striking distance but it will be difficult to take down 7th ranked Kansas away from home.

During a recent press conference, Miller said the Bearcats can't afford to dwell on the loss as Big 12 play moves forward in the coming days.

“You don't have time to put your head down and pout so you better figure out how to learn and grow, then just get ready for the next game.”

It will be important for Cincinnati to slow down Kansas' efficient offense, which currently leads the Big 12 with 51.0 percent field goal shooting.

The Bearcats opened as 8.5-point underdogs against Kansas with the over/under placed at 146.5 points according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
