Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats blow past Bradley 74-57 in NIT second round

A trio of double figure scorers led the Cincinnati Bearcats to a 74-57 win over the Bradley Braves in the NIT second round on Saturday afternoon!
Bearcats freshman guard Jizzle James racked up a season-best 25 points and three rebounds to go with one turnover in his first career start.
In addition to having a 40-33 rebounding edge, Cincinnati shot 10/28 from beyond the arc and totaled 16 points off turnovers against Bradley.
Wes Miller's team improved to 22-14 with the win and will advance to meet Indiana State or Minnesota in the NIT quarterfinals next week!

Bearcats forward Daniel Skillings Jr posted 20 points and five rebounds, while Simas Lukosius stayed hot with 17 points in the blowout victory.
Cincinnati senior John Newman III made a free throw during the first half to reach 1,000 career points and received an ovation by the crowd!
During the postgame press conference today, Miller broke down a career-high showing from James and the Bearcats triumph over Bradley.
"I'm really proud of him. Not just how he scored. We all know what is ahead for Jizzle James and it was good to get a glimpse into that tonight!"
