North Florida transfer combo guard Chaz Lanier was contacted by the Cincinnati Bearcats within the last few days according to several reports!

Lanier earned interest from plenty of prominent programs along with Cincinnati including Duke, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Villanova and more.

The Nashville native spent four years at North Florida and scored a team-high 19.8 points on 44.0% shooting from 3-point range last season.

Cincinnati picked up verbal commitments from former Bradley guard Connor Hickman and USC freshman forward Arrinten Page last month!

Hickman compiled a team-high 14.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per game on 40.2% shooting from beyond the arc in his junior campaign in 2024.

The Indiana product racked up 14 points during a loss at Cincinnati in the NIT quarterfinals last season and will have one year of eligibility left!

Page was a coveted 4-star prospect coming out of Wheeler High School and was the 4th highest ranked prospect from Georgia per 247 Sports.
