Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats face Kansas State for the first time since 2017
By Charles Post
After having three straight losses in Big 12 play, the Cincinnati Bearcats meet the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday night at Fifth Third Arena!
Both teams are squarely on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament but a win this weekend will go a long way in potentially securing a berth.
The brand new conference foes will face off for only the ninth time ever as the Bearcats have a 7-1 record against Kansas State since 1958.
Wes Miller's team will try to snap a recent skid against Kansas State as the Big 12 opponents meet for the first time in nearly seven years.

Cincinnati was looking to snap a lengthy losing streak against Houston before suffering an 11th consecutive setback to the Big 12 frontrunner.
In a postgame press conference, Miller said he was proud of the fight the Bearcats showed off against the nation's highest ranked program.
"That's Cincinnati basketball. I can lose with it. I'm pissed but we are coming. If we fight, and that's the standard we set, then we'll be fine."
With only three games remaining in the regular season, the Bearcats will aim to get back in the win column against Kansas State this week.
