Cincinnati Bearcats forward Simas Lukosius has announced that he will come back for his senior campaign during the upcoming 2025 season!

It appeared the Bearcats were going to be taken out in the NIT opening round but Lukosius saved the day with an unforgettable postseason finish.

Lukosius finished with a team-high 28 points on 8/10 shooting from beyond the arc, highlighted by a buzzer-beating jumper in the final seconds!

The inaugural Big 12 campaign came to an end with a 22-15 record as the Bearcats were ousted by Indiana State in the annual NIT quarterfinals.

During the recent postgame press conference, Lukosius discussed his game-winning play and reacted to the thrilling win over San Francisco.

"We put it in this summer and I don't remember running it. Some of us needed coach to draw it up in the timeout so that we could remember it."
