Cincinnati Basketball: Bearcats host Big 12 rival West Virginia on Senior Day

After suffering an overtime loss at Oklahoma, the Cincinnati Bearcats are set to meet Big 12 rival West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday!

Prior to the long-awaited regular season finale, Cincinnati will hold the Senior Day ceremony to honor John Newman III, Ody Oguama and more.

The Bearcats fell to 17-13 after the last-second loss in Oklahoma, while West Virginia sits at the bottom of the conference with a 9-21 record.

West Virginia stormed back from a double figure deficit during the second half to upset Cincinnati this season in the first meeting since 2012.

It will be key for the Bearcats to slow down West Virginia guards RaeQuan Battle, Noah Farrakhan and Kerr Kriisa from creating quality looks.

Players to watch are Cincinnati forwards Simas Lukosius and Daniel Skillings Jr, and center Aziz Bandaogo along with guard DaVeon Thomas.

The former Big East foes will square off for the 18th time in school history as the Bearcats enter with a 9-8 all-time record against West Virginia.
