After opening up conference play with a win, the Cincinnati Bearcats host the Texas Longhorns in the Big 12 home opener on Tuesday evening!

Cincinnati improved to 12-2 with a historic win over BYU in the Big 12 debut, while Texas fell to 11-3 following a loss to Texas Tech last week.

Texas is led by guard Max Abmas, who posts a team-high 17.2 points and 4.4 assists per game, plus frontcourt Dylan Disu and Dillon Mitchell.

Wes Miller's team won four consecutive games and should have an opportunity to extend that against Texas but it won't be easy to do so.

It has been just over a decade since the new Big 12 foes met as the Bearcats beat Texas 65-59 in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament!

Players to watch include Cincinnati center Viktor Lakhin and guard Jizzle James, who combined for 29 points and 10 rebounds in the win at BYU.

The Bearcats opened as 4.5-point favorites over Texas with the over/under currently set at 145.5 total points according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

With a chance to pick up a memorable win over the 25th ranked Longhorns, Cincinnati must find success defending and scoring around the rim.
